Hi all, new here....I've been using all of the Ballet Body DVDs (total, upper, lower, and core) in a rotation for the last eight weeks with other workouts, and I'm so pleased with how challenging, creative, and brilliant these workouts are! Needless to say, I am so excited to have just been gifted a streaming subscription as of today (yay!!).

I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the material available and am not sure where I should start. I usually work out about six days a week doing both cardio and weights but I've been opting for Ballet Body workouts in place of some of the traditional weight workouts for the last couple of months.

Would maybe the Ballet Body Training System II be a good idea given what I've been doing the last eight weeks or...? Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome! Thank you so much for all of your kind words! That means so much to me to hear that you have enjoyed the workouts. I'm excited for you to get started here with some of the programs. That's great you have been already doing the Ballet Body workouts. I would love to help you get started. The Iron Barre program includes barre and weight training with 3 day a week programs either express (30 minutes ) or the elite program (60 minutes). The workouts released in the past year vary between traditional weight training, barre with weights, simply barre, and body weight resistance type workouts. The Ballet Body programs are only body weight type workouts. If you would like to continue with only Ballet Body workouts, the Ballet Body Training System II would be a great option. If you want to also incorporate weight training, the Iron Barre programs would be the right fit. If you want to do both types of workouts, you can pick and choose your program. You can create a total body workout with ballet body workout, a weighted workout day with the Iron Barre workouts, or combine them together. Just aim to hit the total body 3 days a week with resistance training if you are going to put together your own program. Let me know if you have any more questions.
