So I am naturally broad and respond to weights easily for my upper body. I feel like when I train my upper body with weights (10+ pounds) I get a look I’m not going for. It’s frustrating because everyone says weights make you smaller but this is not true for my shoulders and upper back. So my question is do I just do body weight and light weight (3lb) ballet body and iron barre workouts only? If so how frequently should I train my upper body? I want small toned muscles. My lower body I can lift heavy all day and not get bigger. My body shape is like an upside down triangle. Any advice would be great! Thanks
This is such a great question and I know I answered you briefly, but I will expand on this subject soon with a video about bulking, weight lifting, and individual responses to bodyweight vs. heavy resistance.
